How hard is it to do what everyone else is doing, and just buff up the thickness? I'd pay literally ten times what a Five Star Notebook costs for thicker paper and covers! All of the brands I have researched stray far from the formula of "keep it simple," either by making some wack paper format, a downright weird size, or making a journal and not a notebook that can be flipped around. I want something that will last, and for some ungodly reason I don't understand, this is an insurmountable task. Why would anyone pay extra for quality that isn't needed for the masses? They are meant to *maybe* get filled up completely and then never opened again by some random high school student's history class lectures. Even Five Star Notebooks only last a month or two from the thin-ass paper just getting wrecked from flipping through notes. Walmart and Target notebooks are not even in the realm of what I need, they fall apart rather quickly for my use case of flipping through notes every day for my work.
